Jenay

Jenay joined the hospital team in April 2026 as a Veterinary Assistant and brings with her a growing foundation in animal care and a deep-rooted passion for helping pets thrive. She has been working in the veterinary field for over two years and is currently continuing her education through the Veterinary Technician program at Penn Foster. Prior to entering veterinary medicine, Jenay worked as a real estate agent while dedicating her free time to volunteering at the SW Humane Society and pet sitting, experiences that helped shape her path into the profession.

Jenay has loved animals for as long as she can remember, with some of her earliest memories centered around caring for her childhood pets. Today, her home is a lively “mini zoo,” shared with a wide variety of companions including two Labrador Retrievers, Benelli (3) and Ruger (2), a Labradoodle named Chewy (8), a leopard gecko named Lemon (4), three snakes named Princess Peach, Ralph, and Gumdrop, four chickens, a curly hair tarantula named Bigfoot (3), and a millipede named Bumble. Outside of work, Jenay enjoys reading in the sunshine and spending as much time outdoors as possible, whether that’s kayaking, snowboarding, hiking, or exploring with her dogs.
